About Us

For those who want to give freediving a go but who may be nervous about whether they will enjoy it. This half day course aims to provide you with a short but immersive introduction to pool or open water freediving depending on your interests.

This experience starts off with some basic theory, providing you with a general knowledge of the fundamental techniques that will allow you to start your foray into the world of freediving. Following this we will practice some breathing techniques in the water before giving you the chance to try some pool or open water dives to a maximum depth of 10m.

This course does not provide any certification and there is no pressure to achieve any results. By the end we hope to have given you an idea of what it feels like to be a freediver and to have ignited a desire to continue you journey into the freediving world.

Cost - £150

Discover the underwater world in the most natural way - by holding your breath. The Molchanovs Wave 1 course will take you through a fun and relaxed experience yet with a strong focus on making you a safe freediver. Everyone can access the Wave 1 course. You just need to be healthy and able to swim 200 meters.

In this course, you will learn the techniques needed to freedive comfortably and safely, opening up the underwater world to you. Although diving to as deep as 20 meters and holding your breath for 90 seconds or more may sound like a daunting feat, with a little knowledge and guidance you will surprise yourself by the end of the course.

One of the key focuses of this course is safety and you will learn buddying techniques, how to perform rescues and how to prevent potential injuries. You will also have the opportunity to practice relaxation techniques, breathing techniques and to refine your core freediving skills.

By the end of the course you will be a certified freediver and will have access to a worldwide community of freedivers through the Malchanovs Dashboard platform.

Cost - £300

The Molchanovs Wave 2 course will allow you to extend your freediving limits deeper and further across all disciplines (up to a depth of 30m) and to become more proficient in freediving techniques. You will be introduced to individual training techniques, more advanced physiology and be given the tools to take the next step in your freediving journey.

The focus of this course is on making you more comfortable at deeper depths and on introducing you to some of the more advanced skills that you will need as you progress deeper, including free-fall, deep equalization and lung stretches.

By the end of the course you will be diving to depths of up to 30m and be able to hold your breath for at least 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Cost - £375

Whether you are struggling with equalisation, wish to extend your breath hold, need help identifying the cause of your diving problems or would just like a bit more guidance in your training, we offer 1 to 1 coaching aimed at helping you get the most out of your freediving.

Sessions can be tailored to your requirements and can include sessions on land or in the water. In the sessions we will use tools such as video analysis to identify areas that can be worked on and will develop a personalised plan to help you address these and achieve your goals.

Cost - £50 per hour
